Cheng Sudong, associate professor (tenured) and researcher at Department of Chinese Language and Literature, Peking University. He received his B.A. from Beijing Language and Culture University and D.A. from Peking University. His research interests are the history of Confucian Classics in Han and Tang Dynasties, philology of Confucian Classics, pre-Qin and Han literature, and early writing culture. He has published over forty articles in academic journals such as Chinese Social Sciences, Bulletin of the Institute of History and Philology of Academia Sinica, etc. He has hosted projects from the National Social Science Foundation, the Humanities and Social Science Foundation of the Ministry of Education, and Fok Ying-Tong Education Foundation for Young Teachers. He is the winner of Academic Newcomer Award for Doctoral Students (Ministry of Education, PRC), Beijing Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award, and Puyin Humanities Academic Award.
