Frédéric Brahami received his doctoral degree in
philosophy from University Paris Nanterre. He was a fellow of University of
Strasbourg and the University of Franche – Comte. Now his is a professor of
EHESS (École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales) and a member of CESPRA (Raymond
Aron Center for Sociology and Politics). He has been focusing on modern society
and political philosophy research and maintains a strong interest in the
tradition of socialism and communism in France during 19th and 20th century.
