        Yao Zhihua    

        Yao Zhihua is a professor at the Department of Philosophy at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He received his PhD from Boston University. His research interests cover Buddhist philosophy, Indian philosophy, philosophy of religion, phenomenology, and philosophy of mind. His publications include Nonexistent Objects in Buddhist Philosophy: On Knowing What There is Not (2020), Brahman and Dao: Comparative Studies of Indian and Chinese Philosophy and Religion (co-edited with Ithamar Theodor, 2014), The Buddhist Theory of Self-Cognition (2005), and numerous journal articles and book chapters.
