Guo Xiaoyu, Assistant Researcher in the Centre for British Studies at Shanghai International Studies University. She got her PhD from the School of International Studies, Peking University. Her research interests lie in the internal and external order in nation-building of the UK and the USA. Guo has published several papers in journals including CASS Journal of Political Science and the Journal of International Studies.
