LUO Hong, Professor, School of History and Culture, Sichuan University. He was awarded his PhD in 2007 with a dissertation on the Pravrajyāvastu of Guṇaprabha’s Vinayasūtra. From 2007 to 2017, he was affiliated with the China Tibetology Research Center and worked on collaborative international projects to edit Sanskrit manuscripts preserved in Tibet. His research covers the legal literature, the Tantric literature, and the late Vaisnava texts. He has published three monographs (one co-authored) and more than 20 papers on the collection of Sanskrit texts in the Tibet Autonomous Region.
