LIANG Yun, Professor, School of Cultural Heritage, Northwest University. He has worked in field archaeology in Northwest China and Central Asia for many years, mainly on the archaeological investigation and excavation of early Qin culture and the archaeology of the West Tianshan region in Central Asia, among others. He has a profound knowledge of Qin culture and the cultures of ancient Central Asian ethnic groups such as the Kangju and Yuezhi. His publications include An Archaeological Survey of the Differences between the Qin and the Eastern Six States (《战国时代的东西差别——考古学的视野》) and An Archaeological Interpretation of Records of the Grand Historian: Basic Annals of Qin (《〈史记·秦本纪〉的考古学解读》).
