ZHANG Guowang is an associate research fellow of the Institute of History at Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He mainly focuses on the history of Yuan dynasty and the socio-economic history of ancient China. He has published a monograph Salt and Society in Yuan Dynasty, co-authored The Natural Disasters in Yuan Dynasty.
