DU Doucheng is a professor of the School of History and Culture at Lanzhou University. He is the founder of the Department of Museums and Archeology at Lanzhou University. His research and teaching focus on archeology and Tunhuangology. He is the author of books including Passages concerning Buddhism from the Official Histories, Duzhuan ji (杜撰集) and has published over 60 articles.
