LI Xiao is a professor of School of Chinese Classics at Renmin University of China. He specializes in Archaeology in Xinjiang Province and cultural exchange between Eastern and Western civilizations. He has conducted several academic projects on Silk Road research, with special focus on the layout of Buddhist temples and none-han literature. He is the chief editor of Silk Road Research Series: None-Han literature along the Silk Road.
