        XU Yongming    

                XU Yongming is a professor of the School of Humanities , and the director of the Center for Economic and Cultural Studies at Zhejiang University. He is the director of the Academic Map Publishing Platform, vice president of Ming Dynasty Literature Society (Preparatory), standing director of Chinese Folk Literature, as well as a member of the Steering Committee of CBDB of Harvard University. He graduated from the Chinese Department of Zhejiang University in 2002 with a PhD in Literature. He is a member of the editorial advisory board of Digital Humanities and Digital Humanities Research. He mainly studies Yuan, Ming and Qing literature and digital humanities. He has authored, collated and compiled more than 20 books and 500 volumes, including A Study of the Wuzhou Writers Group from the Yuan Dynasty to the Early Ming Dynasty, Songlian's Chronology, Research and dissemination of ancient Chinese opera, A General Catalogue of the Collection of Zhejiang in the Qing Dynasty, Essays on Tang Xianzu Studies in the English-speaking World (chief editor), Rare Ming Opera Series (deputy editor), and the series Collection of Rare Books in the Harvard-Yenching Library, Harvard University, USA. He has also undertaken the National Social Science Foundation's projects of "A General Catalogue of Qing Dynasty Writings in Zhejiang" (late period), "A General Catalogue of Ancient Extant Writings in Zhejiang" (key project) and "The Construction of a Smart Big Data and Platform for Literature of the Ming Dynasty" (key project).
