        ZHANG Zhaojun    

                ZHANG Zhaojun is a professor of School of History, Beijing Normal University, and a doctoral supervisor at the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and executive director of the Beijing Historical Society. He worked as a foreign research fellow of Japan Society for the Promotion of Academic Studies, a visiting professor at the University of Tokyo and was selected for the Ministry of Education's New Century Talent Support Programme and the Beijing Talent Programme. He is the author of Confucianism in Modern Times: A Study of Zhang Taiyan's Confucian Thought, The History of Qing Dynasty Science and Scripture in the Late Qing Dynasty, The Way of Qing Confucianism, The History and Theory of Chinese Cultural History, and co-editor of The History of Modern Chinese Culture (a textbook planned for the 12th Five-Year Plan) and The Collected Works of Liu Yizheng (12 volumes). He received the Chinese Government Publication Award, the Ministry of Education Social Science Achievement Award and the Beijing Teaching Achievement Award.
