HUANG Yingying received her B.A. and doctoral degree in Sociology at Renmin University of China in 2005. She now serves as the associate professor of the School of Sociology and Population Studies, deputy director of Institute of Sexuality and Gender at Renmin University of China. Her present research focuses on women’s body and sexuality, interdisciplinary studies of HIV/AIDS, and qualitative studies methods. Her publications include Sexuality, Body and Sociology of Story-telling (2018), I’m on the Spot: A Field Survey Note on Sex Sociology (2017, coauthor), Changes in Sex: the Sex Life of the Chinese in the 21^st Century (2013, coauthor) and Body, Sexuality and Xinggan (sexiness): Study on Chinese Women’s Daily Lives (2008).
