TIAN Lei is currently a professor of the School of Law, East China Normal University. He received his doctoral degree in 2008 from the Department of Government and Public Administration, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interests include American Constitution, China’s constitutional system, and Hong Kong politics. He is currently working on a treatise about the early history of the American Constitution. Apart from many articles and academic papers, he also actively takes part in the translation, publication, and popularization of academic issues.
