LU Guoquan is currently an associate professor of the Department of Archeology and Museology, Shandong University. He received his doctorate degree of archeology in 2014 from Peking University. From July 2016 to January 2017 he was a visiting scholar at Nanzan University, Japan. His research interests include archeology of the pre-Qin period, field archeology, and ancient Chinese bronzes. Apart from a number of academic papers, he has published a monograph named The Bronzes of the Eastern Zhou Period: A Genealogical Study (2018).
