        Hassan Fazeli Nashli    

        Hassan Fazeli Nashli is a Professor of Archaeology at the University of Tehran, Iran. He was awarded a Ph.D. from the University of Bradford in the UK in 2001 and has been working at the Department of Archeology at the University of Tehran since 1996. He was the former Director at the Iranian Center for Archaeological Research and the Head of the Department of Archaeology at the University of Tehran. His main research interests are archaeological studies of the Neolithic Age and the late Chalcolithic Age (10000-3000 BC) in Iran, especially the specialization and complication processes in the handicraft industry. In recent years, he is very interested in the application of systematic chronology research and multidisciplinary analysis methods in archaeological research and has conducted many multidisciplinary projects in cooperation with archaeologists from the United Kingdom, the United States, Italy, Canada, and Germany.
