HUANG Chunyan studied at Wuhan University, Yunnan
University and Xiamen University and was the director of the Department of
History of Shanghai Normal University. Since 2015, he has been a fellow of
Yunnan University and the director of the School of History and Archival
Science, the Institute of Chinese Economic History and the associate director
of Chinese Song Dynasty Research Association and Chinese Overseas Traffic
History Association. He has been focusing on the history of Song Dynasty and Chinese
economic history.
