HE Zhaotian is a fellow of the Institute of Literature of CASS(Chinese Academy of Social Sciences) and the Institute of Contemporary Arts and Social Ideology of China Academy of Art. He is also a member of Taiwan Social Research and the chief editor of Renjian Thought Review (Mainland Edition). He has been a visiting fellow at Tunghai University, National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan, National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan, University of Tokyo and National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan. His research interest includes Chinese political history, intellectual history and contemporary Literature since the 18^th century.
