Liu Ching Cheng completed her doctoral degree of history at National Taiwan University in 1987. She has been teaching at Soochow University in Taiwan and National Cheng Kung University. Her current research interest includes social history, women’s history, and popularization of historical research. During her visit in IHSS, she plans to study the social and cultural meaning of epitaphs of the Song Dynasty.
