XUE Longchun studied at the Department of Chinese
Language and Literature of Soochow University, the School of Fine Arts of Nanjing
Normal University and the School of Fine Arts of Nanjing University of the Arts. He received
his doctoral degreein 2001. Now he is a professor of the Institute
of Culture and Relics of Zhejiang University. He has been a
visiting fellow of the History of Art & Architecture Department of Boston
University and Taipei Palace Museum. His research interest includes the
calligraphy, seal cutting and writtenletters from 16th to 17th century.
