        Patricia Buckley Ebrey    

        Patricia Buckley Ebrey is a professor of history at the University of Washington. Over the course of her career, she has worked on the social, cultural, and political history of China, especially of the Song dynasty. She won prizes for The Inner Quarters: Marriage and the Lives of Women in the Sung Period (1993) and Accumulating Culture: The Collections of Emperor Huizong (2008). Several of her books have been translated into Chinese, including her most recent one, Emperor Huizong (2014). Her current research interests include migration in Chinese history.
