LIN Xiaoguang was born in 1981. He is an associate professor of the College of Humanities at Zhejiang University. He studied at the Department of Chinese at Fudan University and received his bachelor, master and doctorate degree during 2000 to 2011. During 2008 to 2010, he received united training at Kobe University in Japan. His research focuses on the literature during the Wei-Jin and the Southern and Northern Dynasties. He is recently interested in the study of aristocrat society and literature in medieval China, the development of literature in the Wei-Jin and the Southern and Northern Dynasties, Japanese Sinology and the exchange history of Chinese and Japanese culture.
