HUANG Kuan-chung, born in 1949, obtained Doctor of History at National Taiwan University, and now servesas chair professor at Chang Gung University, while having served as chair professor at Peking University and Tsinghua University and National Chung Hsing University. His research mainly focuses on the history of the Southern Song Dynasty of China. He has published over 10 books including Family and Society of Song Dynasty, and over 100 theses in journals including Historical Research and Journal of Chinese Historical Studies.
