        Xiaochun Qi    

        Xiaochun Qi is a Professor at Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. His research mainly focuses on the calligraphy history of Wei, Jin, Northern and Southern Dynasties and the study of Wang Xizhi. In 2007, he was recruited home as a High Level Overseas Scholar by the Personnel Department of Guangdong Province. He now serves as a Professor of the Department of Chinese Painting at Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, an Adjunct Professor at Zhongshan University, and a Visiting Research Fellow in the Institute for East-West Studies, Kansai University (Japan). He is also the Vice Chairman of the Art Theory Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education of China.
