MIAO Degang is an associate research fellow at Institute of Economics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. In recent years, he has focused on the fundamental theoretical and methodological issues in the fields of national economic accounting, rural economy, and the “eastward transmission of Western thoughts” and “westward transmission of Eastern thoughts” of economic ideas.
Before coming to the CASS, he was a postdoctoral researcher on theoretical economics at Tsinghua University, after he graduated from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics majoring in the history of economic thought.
