WU Minchao, research fellow at the Institute of Modern History, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Born in Haining, Zhejiang in 1979. She graduated in 2008 with a doctoral degree of Modern History from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and joined the Academy. She was a post doctor at Department of History, Fudan University from 2014 to 2017. In 2019, She was selected as the candidate for the Young Talents Project of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee. Her main research areas are socio-economic history of modern China, History of the War of Resistance against Japan, history of the Communist Party of China, history of overseas Chinese. She has published The Academics and Politics in the National Calamity: Contention among the Chineseinses Economists, 1932-1937, and more than 20 papers on Modern Chinese History Studies, CPC History Studies, The Journal of Studies of China’s Resistance Was Against Japan, etc.
