DAI Haibin was born in 1978 in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province. He is an associate professor of Department of History, Fudan University. He obtained his BA degree from Department of History at Lanzhou University in 2002, and PhD degree of history from Department of History at Peking University. He has been engaged in researches on history of Chinese modern political diplomacy. He is also interested in history of regional society and culture and academic history of the Republic of China.
