SU Peng was born in 1981 in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province. He obtained his BA, MA and PhD degrees of ancient Chinese philology from Nanjing Normal University during 2000 to 2010. He was employed by School of Arts, Nanjing Normal University, and was elevated as associate professor in 2013. He had a visiting program in the Institute of Chinese Literature and Philosophy, Academia Sinica, Taipei. He has been engaged in researches on classics including Zuo Zhuan, Shi Ji and Yu Pian.
