JIANG Nan is currently an associate research fellow of the Institute of Linguistics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. She received her doctoral degree in 2008 from the Department of Chinese, Peking University. From 2010 to 2016 she served as an associate research fellow at the Center of Sanskrit Studies, CASS. Her major research interest is the linguistic study of Chinese translations of Sanskrit Buddhist scriptures. Her publications include A Grammatical Study of the Lotus Sutra (2011) and Sanskrit Buddhist Scriptures: A Reader (2014, with others)
